Many people feel Japanese ask for too much detailed information, while at the same time, instructions from Japanese bosses tend to be quite vague. These seemingly contradictory behaviors can be better understood in light of the cultural differences between Japan and other countries.

In this seminar, you will learn a systematic approach and framework to better understand these cultural gaps, which will shed light on why conflicts exist in a cross-cultural work environment and allow you to build an effective communication strategy to deal with them.

The six dimensions of national culture are based on extensive research done by Professor Geert Hofstede. The cultural dimensions represent preferences for one state of affairs over another, which helps to distinguish one country from another.

Experienced working in a big manufacturing company in Japan headquarter and became one of the youngest purchasing manager in Indonesia factory.
After gaining some managerial experience, pursued her MBA degree back to Japan in Hitotsubashi ICS university, which inspired her to set a trading company, PT Foodlink Indonesia, focusing on F&B products between Japan and Indonesia as a CEO.
